Appledore has an abundance of unspoilt charm, its many fishermen's cottages tucked away in a maze of narrow cobbled pathways, and Corner Cottage, as you may expect, nestles in the corner between two similar cottages. Being in 'reverse style,' to take full advantage of the fabulous views, stairs lead to the cosy open plan first floor living room with the modern kitchen area to one end and comfortable seating area at the other. There is a bay window with French doors which when fully open create a balcony area inside the living room where you may sit and enjoy the panoramic views over the estuary. There are two bedrooms and a small bathroom on the ground floor; the double bedroom enjoys estuary views, and the small bunk bedded room is suitable for children under 11 years only. The pretty quayside with shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants is just a short stroll away. Corner Cottage is ideally suited for couples or young families seeking a good base from which to explore this beautiful area.

An attractive twin bedroom and shower room is also on the ground floor. From the entrance hallway a solid wood staircase rises up to the mezzanine floor and a spacious double bedroom with separate dressing room and ensuite bathroom. This attractive galleried landing area, with far reaching views, is a lovely spot for relaxing in the comfy chairs to read a book or the morning papers, and a second TV is a useful bonus for families. A real treat is the large lawn to the side of the cottage, ideal for children to run and play, and the pretty front patio is just perfect for leisurely al fresco meals, barbecues or just relaxing at any time of day. Perfect for keen walkers, there is also a bridleway / footpath leading from the doorstep all the way to the stunning beach at Putsborough around 20 minutes away. The light, bright and spacious open plan living room with kitchen and dining area boasts a high vaulted ceiling, comfy seating and a wood burning stove, making it the cosiest of retreats at any time of year. An attractive twin bedroom is also situated on the ground floor together with a modern bathroom.
