Close to Knockmealdown Mountains, Comeragh Mountains and the hills of Monavullagh. To the North, beyond Clonmel (15 min drive) lies the great plain of Tipperary. The nearest pub is a half mile walk. There is brilliant walking from the doorstep; lanes are usually deserted and footpaths well signposted. There’s a fly fishing school (and shop) less than a mile from the cottage, and an equestrian centre about five miles away.
