Accommodation overview: In an elevated position directly above the harbour in a very picturesque village, this stone built end- terraced cottage dates back to 1837 and has some wonderful panoramic views to the sea and rugged cliffs of St Abbs Head. The cottage has been sympathetically restored with care taken to ensure the charm and original character remain intact. The cosy lounge has the original timber panelling and an open fire. A delightful unusual feature is the attic room which runs the length of the house and has French windows leading out to a small balcony with fabulous views. This is a unique holiday home in the centre of this popular fishing village, close to the village shop and 25 minutes walk to the pub. Parking within 50 yards. This is a conservation area with the National Nature Reserve and Bird Sanctuary on the nearby cliffs and rocky shoreline. Boat trips can be arranged out of the harbour, there is a very popular diving centre with tuition available and a safe sandy beach for swimming. The village of Coldingham is a 1.5 mile walk along the ancient inland creel path and further shopping and amenities in Eyemouth.
