These two stylishly converted, single-storey holiday barns (refs PPPR and PPPS) are in a delightful rural setting with glorious views and footpaths from the door across the countryside. Within walking distance of the picturesque village of Sedlescombe with a village green, a historic friendly pub and good local shop. The market town of Battle with its abbey and 1066 battlefield is approximately 4 miles. Hastings (7 miles) has a beach-launched fishing fleet and the iconic black weather boarded fishing net huts. Explore St Clement’s caves and unravel their smuggling past. The golden beaches and sand dunes at Camber and the medieval cobbled, Cinque Port town of Rye are easily accessible. Explore castles nearby including the moated Bodiam Castle and Gardens, and Sissinghurst Castle, or take a trip on the Kent and East Sussex Steam Railway. Shop, pub and restaurant 1/2 mile.
