Accommodation overview: Lindale is a delightful village in the south Lakes, only 2 miles from Grange Over Sands which can be reached in 5 minutes by car or 40 minutes walk for those more energetic of you. Grange was a popular resort of the Victorians and still today retains an historic feel with the lovely promenade fringed by delightful tea rooms and craft shops. Lindale is well placed for exploring all of the Lakes and Furness Peninsula, Windermere Lake being only only 15 minutes drive. Accommodation overview: Brambleside is a beautiful 4 bedroom detached house, 400 yards from the beach and Mawbray Banks nature reserve, which is an area of outstanding natural beauty overlooking the spectacular Cumbrian Coast. Guests are sure to appreciate the spacious accommodation and all the facilities provided for children, making Brambleside the perfect base for 2 families on vacation together. There is a pub in Mawbray, 100 yards from the house and a playground opposite. The popular seaside village of Allonby is only 3 miles away, with restaurants, shops, pubs and swimming pool. The sand and shingle beach has stunning views across the Solway to Scotland and is ideal for dog walking, or just relax and let the children play in the sand and paddle in the water. The Victorian seaside town of Silloth is a 10 min drive away. Maryport is a 15 min drive with attractions for all the family including Lake District Coast Aquarium and The Wave visitor centre. There are several golf courses within a few miles and the Lake District National Park is a half hour drive.

Old Bog Farmhouse is situated in a peaceful, rural area, surrounded by open farmland and with views to the Lake District Mountains. Aldoth is in North West Cumbria, 5 miles from the Victorian seaside town of Silloth and the wonderful Cumbrian coast and within easy reach of The Lakes, Carlisle and Hadrians Wall. There are numerous nature reserves along the coast and excellent walks along the beaches and nearby fells. The nearest pub is 3 miles, at Abbey Town, with many more amenities in Silloth including leisure facilities, restaurants, pubs and shops. There are 2 golf courses within 5 miles, one in Aspatria and the award wining Links course at Silloth.

Accommodation overview: The Old Coachmans is a perfect seaside holiday cottage; situated 20 yards from the beach, in the centre of Allonby, with a childrens play area opposite. The kids are going to love it here, but so will the adults, with views across the sea to the scottish hills, magnificent sunsets and miles of walks along the beach.Allonby is a convenient base for day trips to the Borders, Southern Scotland and The Lake District National Park. You could be in bustling Keswick in half an hour or the more peaceful, remote and unspoilt Western Lakes in about 45 minutes. Visit historic Carlisle (30 minutes) with its medieval castle, Norman Cathedral and museum or have a day out at the Roman fort and museum at Housesteads and walk along Hadrians Wall (about 1 hours drive)

These 2 quaint seaside towns each have amenities, including leisure facilities, restaurants, pubs and shops and the Lake District is 30 minutes drive. Accommodation overview: Shoremeadow, extensively refurbished for 2011, is set 150 metres from a beautiful, secluded sandy beach and enjoys a idyllic position in this tranquil south western corner of the Lakes where the mountains meet the sea.The cottage is a two minute drive from the peaceful village of Silecroft. It has stunning westerly views over the Irish Sea to the Isle of Man and easterly views to Blackcoombe Fell. The beach extends for miles in both directions and is perfect for dog walking, lazy days building sand castles or taking to the sea for fishing.
