Accommodation overview: Knott View is part of Muncaster Estates, which includes the historic 12th century Muncaster Castle and beautiful grounds, owned by the Pennington family for the past 8 centuries. This 18th century house adjoins Newton House, the 2 properties may be let separately or together for up to 22 people and are set in over an acre of grounds. It is 1/2 mile from Ravenglass, a pretty fishing village on the Cumbrian Coast, with sandstone houses, pubs, hotels, shops and cafes. The Ravenglass and Eskdale narrow gauge railway operates from the village station and travels along the Eskdale valley. Wast Water, Englands deepest lake, Sca Fell our highest mountain and the beautiful Wasdale and Eskdale valleys are all nearby and offer great walking. Guests can take advantage of a 20% discount for entry to Muncaster Castle and a 10% discount off meals at the Pennington Hotel.

Accommodation overview: Brambleside is a beautiful 4 bedroom detached house, 400 yards from the beach and Mawbray Banks nature reserve, which is an area of outstanding natural beauty overlooking the spectacular Cumbrian Coast. Guests are sure to appreciate the spacious accommodation and all the facilities provided for children, making Brambleside the perfect base for 2 families on vacation together. There is a pub in Mawbray, 100 yards from the house and a playground opposite. The popular seaside village of Allonby is only 3 miles away, with restaurants, shops, pubs and swimming pool. The sand and shingle beach has stunning views across the Solway to Scotland and is ideal for dog walking, or just relax and let the children play in the sand and paddle in the water. The Victorian seaside town of Silloth is a 10 min drive away. Maryport is a 15 min drive with attractions for all the family including Lake District Coast Aquarium and The Wave visitor centre. There are several golf courses within a few miles and the Lake District National Park is a half hour drive.

The front garden looks over the Solway Firth to the Scottish Hills and has the most spectacular sunsets. The beach is great for dog walking and extends for miles in either direction, with Silloth to the north and Allonby to the south. These 2 quaint seaside towns each have amenities, including leisure facilities, restaurants, pubs and shops and the Lake District is 30 minutes drive. Isabels Cottage has a wet room and a bedroom on the ground floor, which will be an advantage to guests with mobility problems.

Accommodation overview: Grange-Over-Sands and surrounding districts are a delightful area of the South Lakes, offering an interesting selection of historic seaside resorts and quaint rural villages. Grange is an elegant town, with a long, sweeping promenade fronting the Bay, lined with antique and collectors shops and cafes. Cartmel famous for its Priory and race meetings is well worth a visit, if only to sample the local sticky toffee pudding. Allithwaite is a short drive from both Grange and Cartmel and is only about 7 miles from the southern tip of Lake Windermere with easy access to the higher fells. Fairview, an end terrace cottage, has been completely renovated to provide exceptional levels of comfort. The accommodation is set out over three floors. The enclosed garden is reached from the lower ground floor, just the spot to enjoy eating al fresco in the warm summer months.

Accommodation overview: Row Moor Farm is situated close to both Cockermouth and Maryport, between the Lake District Fells and the Solway Coast. Each of which are within a few minutes drive. You may enjoy gentle walks along the beach or choose more strenuous mountain walks. Cockermouth is famous as the birth place for William Wordsworth but has many other attractions, including The Sheep and Wool Centre, numerous art galleries, the Kirkgate Arts Centre and a good selection of Restaurants, Shops and Pubs. At Maryport there is the Harbour, Maritime museum and Aquarium of the Lakes. The border City of Carlisle is within 30 minutes drive. Barn Cottage and Loft Cottage are adjoining each other on a working farm, next to the owners house.They may be let separately or together for up to 11 people.
