Accommodation overview: Thatched Grade II listed and newly renovated Reed Cottage lies within 2 miles of superb sandy and surfing beaches (pictured) and ½ mile from pretty estuary walks and the Tarka Trail. Opening off a peaceful cobbled courtyard with water feature and pond shared with three other cottages it is just 200 yards from an excellent pub serving food. Nearby Braunton Burrows designated an International Biosphere is home to rare flowers birds and some of the largest dunes in Britain. Braunton (1 mile) has good shops and restaurants.

Beside a working farm, along a narrow country lane, the holiday property stands at the head of a valley overlooking Barnstaple Bay to Clovelly. Self-contained, it enjoys shared use of 3 acres of grounds. Braunton (1½ miles) has shops, inns and restaurants. Coast under 10 minutes’ drive. Bird-watching and walking nearby. Tarka Trail Cycle Path 2 miles. Golf 4 miles. Kite surfing lessons and surf school can be arranged (advisable to book in advance). Exmoor 15 miles. Shops 1½ miles. Fully fitted kitchen/dining area. Archway to beamed living room with gas wood-burning stove and doors to patio. Open-tread pine stairs to three bedrooms; one double, and one single room leading to a bunk bedroom. Accommodation overview: This cottage has recently been updated and is perfect for families and friends alike. North Devon's stunning beaches of Saunton, Woolacombe and Croyde are all within easy reach and the town of Braunton itself, with it's boutique shops, cafe's, pubs and restaurants will suit all tastes. The cottage is also within minutes of the Tarka Trail which provides 21 miles of level, scenic, traffic-free cycling. Barnstaple (North Devon's largest town) is less than 5 miles away and has a busy pannier market selling local Devon produce, a theatre, cinema and well known fashion stores. In the evenings, you can relax in the large enclosed private garden or stroll to one of the many local pubs serving good food. This well-furnished accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: all with portable TVs with either DVD or video, clock/radios and hair dryers. 1 king-size double and 2 twin bedrooms (1 is situated downstairs). Bathroom: downstairs with large bath, shower cubicle, WC, and heated towel rail. Separate WC. Lounge: downstairs with comfortable seating, gas fire, TV and DVD. Dining room: spacious with large dining table. Kitchen: well-equipped with electric oven, gas hob, and microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine, tumble dryer and hi-fi. Outside: large enclosed garden area with patio and garden furniture. Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and Wi-Fi included. Regret no smoking or pets.
