Accommodation overview: Blackbird Cottage is very welcoming and comfortable and comes well equipped throughout Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away! A beautifully presented family house, with attractive gardens and private parking. Blackbird Cottage is very welcoming and comfortable and comes well equipped. Accommodation overview: An ideal getaway - all on one level with conservatory and decking at the rear Southwold Denes - Southwold Denes stretches from Gun Hill to the harbour's mouth and acts as a vital sea defence for the town. Suffolk Coast and Heaths (to whom our customer's £1 booking donation goes to) are working with several agencies to restore and maintain the important area. It is the home of skylarks and little terns (please be careful not to disturb the nests) and the habitat of sea holly, sea pea and bird's foot trefoil to name a few. Our properties here enjoy the sunrise over the sea and stunning sunsets over the marshes. The Saltings is next to the beach with lovely views of the Denes and the River Blyth. Weybourne is a village of flint cottages and winding roads, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
