The friendly owners take great care to respect your privacy but may occasionally use the gate to access the lane into the village. Woolacombe's fabulous choice of shops pubs and restaurants are only minutes away and the stunning three mile stretch of golden sands within a short stroll. This lovely home is a perfect base for discerning couples to enjoy at any time of year. Nestling in the grounds of the owners own beautiful 16th century thatched Devon Longhouse, the elevated position ensures stunning countryside views and on a clear day Croyde Bay can be glimpsed from the south facing balcony. This is a lovely spot to enjoy meals al fresco or evening drinks under the stars. A gravel path and steps lead up to the front entrance and into the open plan living room with comfy leather sofa and flat screen wall mounted TV. The modern kitchen area is well equipped, featuring a breakfast bar, and there is one double bedroom with an ensuite shower room. Weez House is an ideal choice for surfers, and keen walkers will enjoy exploring the footpath leading almost from the doorstep to the stunning beach at Putsborough around 20 minutes away. To holiday with friends we also have a cottage called Thatcher’s Leggett in the same location. Croyde offers everything you could need in a seaside village, a renowned surfing beach, character cottages and a great selection of pubs and restaurants. Weez House is something a little different, perfect for couples and a welcoming retreat at the end of a fun filled day. Please note that infants are not accepted. Beautifully positioned next to a one acre lake, stocked with fish, there are walks all around this quiet and peaceful area, yet it is only ten minutes drive to the sea and centre of Southwold. Accommodation overview: Aldeburgh and the surrounding area has inspired many authors and poets in the past but the most famous son of the town is Benjamin Britten, who founded the Aldeburgh Music Festival, which now has worldwide acclaim and is held every year in June at Snape Maltings. Fishermen still pull their colourful boats up on the shingle beach and sell fresh fish from the picturesque huts. The wide, mainly Georgian high street has many attractive buildings whilst the seafront properties all have commanding views of the beach and the North Sea.
