Accommodation overview: Just two minutes' stroll from Longsands' splendid Blue Flag beach this charming renovated cottage is ideally located for beach lovers walkers and surfers. Tynemouth is known for its variety of water sports the national surfing championships are held here. A 10 minute walk leads to the Castle and Priory in their commanding position overlooking King Edwards bay (pictured). Newcastle city centre is a ½ hour Metro train ride away. Gateshead's Baltic art centre and Sage music venue are in easy reach as are the Northumberland coast's many attractions. Pub serving food 200 yards shops ½ mile.

Accommodation overview: Hall Bolton Farmhouse enjoys a truly idyllic setting within the grounds of Hall Bolton, a Georgian Country House. This detached house is surrounded by woodland and open fields with an abundance of bird and wild life and footpaths from the house. Hall Bolton is situated on the doorstep of Eskdale and Wasdale, with a variety of high and low level walks and the opportunity for diving in Wastwater.
