The nearest pub serving bar meals is 2 miles and a wealth of amenities are available in the vibrant market town of Cockermouth, 4 miles. The beach is a fantastic place to walk your dog with views across the Solway to the Scottish Hills. Good food and drink is available at the Stag Inn, within 400 yards. Maryport has a Sea Life Centre, museums, a marina and a selection of shops. The seaside town of Allonby is approximately 4 miles and the spectacular Lake District Park is on the doorstep.
