Cockermouth is well worth a visit, with shops, restaurants, Brewery Tours and the Lakeland Sheep and Wool centre to name a few of the attractions. Now a cosy 1 bedroom holiday cottage, Galloway Cottage is situated in the village of Crosby, 1 mile from the Cumbrian coast and 2 miles from the harbour town of Maryport. The beach is a fantastic place to walk your dog with views across the Solway to the Scottish Hills. Good food and drink is available at the Stag Inn, within 400 yards.
