The bustling coastal resort of Cromer is just two and a half miles away and also has a lovely sandy beach as well as a pier, traditional seaside entertainment, a good range of shops and eating places and excellent cliff-top walks. The area offers scenic paths for walks and bike rides and the cottage is located close to the North Norfolk Cycle way.

Binham is a beautiful, peaceful village retaining the charm and character of a bygone age. The village has the remains of an early 12th century Benedictine priory, where classical concerts are held throughout the summer and the whole area is steeped in history. The Georgian town of Holt is eight miles away with the harbour town of Wells four miles away. Also nearby is the picturesque village of Blakeney, where narrow streets slope down to the tidal creek, and which offers sailing and beautiful coastal and marshland walks. The well-stocked village shop is a legendary village institution, as are the excellent butcher and pub.

A property with a wealth of character - Westgate House is an attractive 17th century Grade II listed flint house on the edge of Binham village with a large enclosed garden and open views over fields. The property is spacious and comfortably furnished with many pieces of period furniture and is only a short walk from the historic Priory and all the amenities of the village.
