At the end of the day return to the tranquil surroundings of Browhill to relax in the lovely private gardens or enjoy al fresco dining with a cool glass of wine. Light, bright and welcoming throughout, this traditional home features a spacious living room with living flame gas fire, for those cooler evenings and separate dining area with patio doors out onto the garden. The Mill House is a wonderful 16th Century listed property standing right on the water's edge of Lee Bay and has been featured both in magazines and on television. Period features include the original milling room, inglenook fireplace, bread ovens, boathouse and the drawbridge over the mill race. A stable door leads you directly into the fabulous kitchen with granite work surfaces and central island with Bombo stools. Dining can be enjoyed in the original Mill Room with views looking out to sea and where French doors give access to the terrace and gardens. The main living room boasts a flagstone floor with inglenook fireplace and wood burning stove and in addition there is a second comfortable sitting room with open fireplace. With five bedrooms in total, bedroom five is located on a mezzanine floor over the Mill Room, accessed via open wooden steps, which are narrow and steep. All are served by a separate bathroom and modern shower room with twin head walk-in power shower plus a separate WC. The front terrace is enclosed by a stone wall, and the rear garden is on several levels with patios and an area of level lawn with garden furniture perfect for al fresco dining. Access to J27 of the M5 is less than an hour away. As soon as you enter through the pillared wooden gates onto the private sweeping driveway, you will know you have arrived somewhere really special to relax and unwind. The spacious contemporary accommodation is light and bright throughout, with high quality furnishings, stylishly presented. A superbly equipped kitchen/dining room is at the heart of the house, where the whole family can gather for leisurely breakfasts or catch up on the days adventures over dinner. Two separate living rooms ensure plenty of space for everyone to relax or play and both have doors which open directly onto one of the terraces which surround the property on all sides for easy access to superb views. The grounds which immediately surround the house are mostly lawned, overlooking paddocks and woodland with wonderful views far into the distance. In the grounds just across the gravelled car park there is a delightful self contained cottage that sleeps two with its own kitchen/diner and bathroom. The cottage is secluded and has a private garden area.
