Located to the edge of the village in a favoured residential area, this fabulous detached home is ideal for a memorable family holiday. Braunton has a great selection of pubs, shops and restaurants and is only a short drive from the gorgeous sandy beaches of Saunton and Croyde. The Tarka Trail runs through the village, perfect for cyclists or walkers to enjoy a variety of landscapes as it winds its way along the route taken by Tarka the Otter in Henry Williamson's famous book. Modern in design, the well thought out accommodation offers a spacious open plan living room and separate dining area with space for all the family to relax after busy days on the beach or at one of the many family attractions nearby. The modern breakfast kitchen is extremely well equipped and leads out onto a path with several steps up to the fully enclosed rear garden area. Mostly lawned, this is a great spot for informal al fresco dining or just sitting with a good book on a sunny afternoon. A convenient ground floor shower room is situated off the internal hallway and stairs rise up to the four attractive bedrooms, the master double room has its own ensuite shower room and there is a further family bathroom. Brayford is one of those picturesque traditional Devon villages that you may only discover by chance. Situated just on the edge of Exmoor National Park surrounded by rolling fields and woodland and with the River Bray running through the centre, it is an ideal location from which to explore all this wonderful area has to offer. Built in the 19th century as a Baptist Chapel and Manse, this lovely conversion is at the heart of the village and enjoys a south facing garden leading to a one and a half acre paddock bordered by a stream. Hidden on the chapel side of the building, which is the owners own occasionally used holiday home is a small plot of headstones. Entering through the large conservatory into the hallway you will find to the right a stylish comfortable sitting room with original fireplace and to the left an attractive modern dining kitchen. A useful boot room and cloakroom completes the ground floor accommodation. Upstairs are two attractive bedrooms, the master double features a lovely beamed ceiling and has a separate spacious dressing room with futon, ideal for flexible sleeping arrangements and the pristine modern bathroom is ensuite. All of the bedrooms are attractively presented with crisp white linen and finishing flourishes. Upstairs the owners have created a fabulous landing area with full width glazed doors opening onto a decked balcony and provided an additional TV and lounging area. The rear garden is mostly lawned and is fully enclosed, ideal for children. Enjoy eating al fresco on the decked patio or relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. A gate from the garden leads onto the path which winds its way to the beautiful golden sandy beach, just a five minute stroll away. Croydes pretty village centre with its collection of thatched cottages, popular pubs and ice cream parlour is an easy stroll away and miles of coastal walks, cycle tracks and fabulous beaches are easily accessible. Beachwalk offers a unique opportunity for parties of either six or ten to enjoy this fabulous holiday retreat. During school holidays, July and September, we will be taking bookings for parties of up to ten, however at other times parties of up to six will be able to stay at a reduced rate, and benefit from the upstairs double and twin bedrooms and superb balcony, together with a ground floor twin bedroom.
