It is a short stroll to the small shingle beach of Millook, which has dramatic rock formations and rock pools to explore. The surrounding area is one of outstanding natural beauty with the South West coastal path running very close to the grounds. Widemouth Bay with its sandy beaches and access to all manner of water sports is only two and a half miles away. Situated on this dramatic coastline, the approach road to Mill Farm is steep and winding, but well worth the journey when you finally see the beautiful setting. In either direction there are interesting coastal towns and villages to explore. This comfortable self-catering home from home has a welcoming dining room with large wood burning stove and complemented by oak dining furniture and a pretty window seat, with views across the garden to the valley beyond. Original beams and doors add to the authentic atmosphere. Following an extensive renovation programme in 2012, the accommodation now offers a spacious new kitchen and two newly built bathrooms. Both bathrooms have bath and shower cubicles with a power shower. From the dining room you enter the newly renovated kitchen with its integrated appliances. This leads into a large and delightful living room, housing a further fireplace, with comfortable seating for all, overlooking the garden, where rambling roses frame the windows and the doorways. There is also a smaller snug sitting room, for those wishing to quietly relax. A rear entrance to the property has direct access to a newly built utility area and shower room with further power shower, perfect for use after surfing. Access to J27 of the M5 is less than an hour away. As soon as you enter through the pillared wooden gates onto the private sweeping driveway, you will know you have arrived somewhere really special to relax and unwind. The spacious contemporary accommodation is light and bright throughout, with high quality furnishings, stylishly presented. A superbly equipped kitchen/dining room is at the heart of the house, where the whole family can gather for leisurely breakfasts or catch up on the days adventures over dinner. This dual aspect room has French doors opening onto a choice of two terraces, which enjoy the sun at different times of day. Two separate living rooms ensure plenty of space for everyone to relax or play and both have doors which open directly onto one of the terraces which surround the property on all sides for easy access to superb views. There are five attractively furnished bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom features a pretty Juliette balcony, ensuite bathroom and huge walk in wardrobe. A second king room also benefits from an ensuite shower room. The third bedroom is a double aspect room with sleeping options for a family offering great flexibility by way of two zip and link king size beds that can be converted to four singles on request. A fourth bedroom offers twin single sleeping arrangements and the fifth bedroom is a more compact double. A fabulous family bathroom completes the upstairs accommodation.
The grounds which immediately surround the house are mostly lawned, overlooking paddocks and woodland with wonderful views far into the distance. An elevated tree house (young children will need to be supervised)will provide amusement for the younger guests and a small orchard is being established in a further corner of the expansive gardens.
In the grounds just across the gravelled car park there is a delightful self contained cottage that sleeps two with its own kitchen/diner and bathroom. The cottage is secluded and has a private garden area. There is a residential let in until August 5th, however if you are interested in renting both Priory House and Priory Cottage altogether after this date please contact the office and we will provide you with a special tariff.
For larger family groups or for two families holidaying together, Priory House is just perfect for getting away from it all in spacious comfortable surroundings. The golden sandy surfing beaches of Saunton and Croyde are approximately twenty-five minutes drive away and the fringes of beautiful Exmoor National Park even closer.

Beachwalk is an impressive holiday home located in a popular area of the village and benefits from direct access onto the beach path, ideal for families. Recently renovated to a high standard, the neutral colour scheme and stylish touches have created a wonderful contemporary feel and provide a perfect backdrop to relax and unwind. The gleaming kitchen features a huge dining table for convivial family meals, and full width fully glazed doors which lead out onto the decked patio can be opened up on balmy evenings to bring the outside in. The living room has lots of comfy seating and together with a sofa in the spacious dining kitchen and additional lounging area upstairs, there is plenty of space for family members to spread out and do their own thing. All of the bedrooms are attractively presented with crisp white linen and finishing flourishes. On the ground floor you will find a double with ensuite shower room and two twin rooms served by the modern family bathroom. Upstairs the owners have created a fabulous landing area with full width glazed doors opening onto a decked balcony and provided an additional TV and lounging area. A really spacious double room and a twin room also have glazed doors out on to the balcony, which has superb views over the surrounding countryside. A second family bathroom serves these rooms. The rear garden is mostly lawned and is fully enclosed, ideal for children. Enjoy eating al fresco on the decked patio or relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. A gate from the garden leads onto the path which winds its way to the beautiful golden sandy beach, just a five minute stroll away. Croydes pretty village centre with its collection of thatched cottages, popular pubs and ice cream parlour is an easy stroll away and miles of coastal walks, cycle tracks and fabulous beaches are easily accessible. Beachwalk offers a unique opportunity for parties of either six or ten to enjoy this fabulous holiday retreat. During school holidays, July and September, we will be taking bookings for parties of up to ten, however at other times parties of up to six will be able to stay at a reduced rate, and benefit from the upstairs double and twin bedrooms and superb balcony, together with a ground floor twin bedroom.

The famous village of Clovelly is well worth a visit, via the coastal path, and you can take a fishing trip from the small cove or simply explore the ancient cobbled streets. Westward Ho! and it’s fabulous stretch of golden sands, popular with surfers is just a ten minute drive away. Boat trips to Lundy Island in Summer offer a rare opportunity to see seals, dolphins, puffins and other diverse wildlife in their natural habitat.
