Located on the vast Woolhanger Estate, these three highly individual, detached holiday properties (refs HTTH, HTTJ and HTTK) have been converted from old farm buildings to provide very comfortable, well-appointed accommodation. They offer a quiet haven but with plenty to do on the doorstep. There is great walking on the many footpaths in the area, including up to Challacombe Reservoir, a hidden little gem. The working farm estate has a wonderful wedding venue location in its spectacular Victorian music room and the cottages can be used in conjunction with Woolhanger Farmhouse to provide accommodation for guests. As well as walking on Exmoor, there is plenty to do within easy reach of the cottages. In Ilfracombe there are the Tunnel Beaches, harbour and numerous shops and restaurants, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Watermouth Castle and at Lynton, the funicular railway runs to Lynmouth, or take a trip on the narrow gauge railway at Woody Bay. At Croyde and Woolacombe are some of the best surfing beaches in the country as well as many small coves and bays.
