Accommodation overview: Situated in the upper part of Devon Road, some 10-15 minutes walk from the town centre and North Sands beach, Sunnyledge and Burberry are two adjoining halves of one large traditional town house - each has been extensively and tastefully upgraded to a modern standard over recent seasons. The layout of each house effectively mirrors the other with all accommodation on two levels (via separate stone steps up to 1st floor entrances), each property enjoys lovely views across the estuary through an area of protected woodland. Accommodation overview: The smaller of the two properties, this lovely barn is entered from the parking area where the front door leads directly into a pleasant living room open to the apex of the roof, with a comfortable leather seating area, a fully fitted country style kitchen/diner and natural wood flooring.
A rear hallway gives access to a bathroom W.C. with hand basin and shower cubicle, a twin bedded room with patio door opening to the landscaped lawn and gardens and a master bedroom with a kingsize double bed and an en-suite shower room W.C. with hand basin.
Stairs lead up from the living room to the first floor and an attractive landing/snug area with casual seating ideal for reading or as a children's play room and to one side a door opens to the third bedroom with two 3ft single beds tucked under the eaves with some exposed low beams.
The owners provide free charcoal/firelighters for the barbecue and can arrange for scallops, lobster, crab, fish (all weather and season dependent) to be delivered from local fishermen.

Accommodation overview: Decorated and furnished to a good standard, Lowenek provides cosy and attractive accommodation which is perfect for small family gatherings and couples. The property forms one of four superior semi-detached terraced cottages and offers wonderful countryside views.
The property is arranged on one floor and one step leads up to the paved patio where you access the property through the large French windows. The entrance is straight into a cosy but well furnished and equipped lounge/kitchen/ diner. On the lounge side, the property offers comfortable seating with electric living flame fire and flat screen TV and a fully fitted kitchen/ diner on the other side.

Self catering accommodation in Millook sleeps 4.
Accommodation overview: A wonderful 17th Century character cottage, formerly a water millhouse, just yards from Millook beach, where sheer cliffs tower above the pebbled beach and small rock pools are revealed at low tide.
Set in a large grassy paddock with a stream running parallel to it, the front door opens into an entrance lobby with an adjacent simple kitchen and pantry area, and in one corner a 4 step ladder leads up to a cabin style children's bedroom with a little window overlooking the 38 ft mill wheel. Two steps up from the kitchen lead to a traditionally furnished cosy beamed living room with a large fireplace and remains of a cloam oven, simple white washed stone walls and a dining area with peaceful views over the garden.
To one side, a heavy carved door salvaged from a shipwreck in the 1800s leads to an additional smaller sitting room with comfortable seating and views of the sea. A bathroom W.C. with vanity basin and shower over bath can be reached via a few steps down from the living room, and an open tread irregularly shaped staircase leads directly up to the master attic bedroom with a 4ft 6inch double bed, a cross beamed ceiling, calming sea views and an extra single chair bed for alternative sleeping arrangements.
The renovated 3 ton mill wheel operates twice daily as an essential part of its preservation. The elderly or infirm may find the low curving beams, uneven floors and stairs a little difficult, and due to the proximity of the running water, toddlers will require supervision in the garden.
The nearest pub is 1.5 miles, and the spectacular sands of Widemouth Bay with a small grocery store are 2 miles away. Crackington Haven is about 5 miles and Bude 6 miles.
Please note: No TV reception. Not suitable for children under 8 or children/adults requiring supervision.
