Countryside with good, interesting walks is all around, of note are Dunwich heath, Minsmere bird reserve, and Rendlesham forest , Southwold, Walberswick, Orford and Woodbridge all are within 25 miles drive. 1 Chequers Row is on the end of a terrace of four houses which was built about 20 years ago, but is designed to look like a terrace of period cottages.
