There is easy access to local attractions such as Rosehill Theatre, Coast Aquarium at Maryport and Muncaster Castle with its maze, Himalayan gardens and owl centre, along with Wordsworth house and brewery tours in Cockermouth as well as the famous Ravenglass and Eskdale Narrow Gauge Railway. Nearby there is the harbour town of Whitehaven. Only a short distance away are the easily accessible Lakes, you will never be short of somewhere to visit whilst staying at Hall Carleton Farmhouse. Fantastic panoramic views of the Western Fells, including Wast Water, Scafell can be seen from all around the working farm. Fishing is available for guests.
