This 1830s stone barn was converted by the owner into luxury accommodation retaining many original features, including exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings and complemented with luxurious furnishings and exceptional facilities. All principal rooms have double or triple aspect with views to the Lakeland fells, Solway and the Scottish lowlands. It is situated in the historic hamlet of Bridekirk, just outside the Gem town of Cockermouth, which has a wide range of individual shops, restaurants, pubs, a major supermarket and visitor attractions. Wast Water, Englands deepest lake, Sca Fell our highest mountain and the beautiful Wasdale and Eskdale valleys are all nearby and offer great walking.
