Thornham is a quiet picturesque village that forms part of the conservation area on the North West Norfolk Coast. There is a wide sandy beach and a small harbour, both of which form part of a local nature reserve. There are some excellent pub/restaurants in the village one of which has won an award in 2010. The coastal town of Hunstanton is just four miles away, it has a sandy beach and many attractions for children. The Coast Hopper bus can take you to Wells, the RSPB reserve at Titchwell and villages including Brancaster and Burnham Market, an excellent opportunity to leave the car behind and enjoy the scenery.

Accommodation overview: The Old Vicarage is a comfortable and spacious family cottage situated within easy walking distance of Cromer town centre and the beach. It has the benefit of an enclosed garden and plenty of parking.

Cromer is a traditional seaside resort with a cliff-top setting and wide sandy beaches running down to the sea. It is famous for its fishing boats that still work off the shore and offer freshly caught seafood. The town has a fine pier, a local history museum, a new lifeboat museum, a golf course, multi-screen cinema, Amazonia zoo, indoor children's play barn, Kart Track, cycle hire, shops and restaurants as well as seafront entertainment, making it ideal for a family holiday. Cromer church tower is the tallest in Norfolk and the more adventurous might like to climb to the top to enjoy the wonderful views.

The Old Vicarage is a spacious family house which was built in 1909 for the Rust family, and was then home to the GP before it became the vicarage. The property is set over three floors and the rooms are of a good size and in keeping with a property of this age. Set within a residential area of the town, it is close to the Lawn Tennis Club, and the Royal Cromer Golf Course. The town centre and beach are a short walk away. The village is also backed by National Trust woodland offering an abundance of walking opportunities across to Felbrigg Hall and Sheringham Park and the Norfolk Coast Path, all of which give some super views across the countryside. The Bittern and national rail line are accessible from the village and from here you can access Norwich, Sheringham and Cromer and enjoy the opportunity of leaving the car behind. The village has excellent eating places as well as a cafe, butchers, greengrocers, newsagents, a small super market and is also close to The Hillside Shire Horse Sanctuary.
