Accommodation overview: Just a mile north of Aldeburgh is this fascinating seaside village, built in the 1920s by Glencairn Stuart Ogilvie, an architect, barrister and playwright. The coastal town of Hunstanton is just four miles away, it has a sandy beach and many attractions for children. The Coast Hopper bus can take you to Wells, the RSPB reserve at Titchwell and villages including Brancaster and Burnham Market, an excellent opportunity to leave the car behind and enjoy the scenery.

Hunstanton is a popular traditional seaside town, with a long sandy beach backed by distinctive striped cliffs. There are reminders of its Victorian origins including the promenade, the large green and the attractive esplanade gardens. Hunstanton town offers a host of activities for the family including a Sea Life Centre, a fun fair, tennis courts, bowling green and a sports and leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, crazy golf and pitch & putt course. Accommodation overview: The Cabin is an ideal holiday home with sea views from the upstairs bedroom - it is almost on the beach and provides excellent family accommodation. Southwold Denes - Southwold Denes stretches from Gun Hill to the harbour's mouth and acts as a vital sea defence for the town. Suffolk Coast and Heaths (to whom our customer's £1 booking donation goes) are working with several agencies to restore and maintain the important area. It is the home of skylarks and little terns (please be careful not to disturb the nests) and the habitat of sea holly, sea pea and bird's foot trefoil to name a few.
