The charming seaside town of Sheringham is an excellent location for a holiday in beautiful North Norfolk. The award-winning beach is of flint pebbles when the tide is high, giving way to a large expanse of smooth sand as the tide recedes. Cliffs rise on either side of the town, which has a backdrop of wooded hills, including those in the wonderful Sheringham Park. Sheringham is also home to The North Norfolk Steam Railway, Splash Leisure Centre, a golf course and an excellent selection of shops, tea-rooms, pubs and restaurants.

Cooper's Retreat is a detached three-storey period property, situated in the heart of Sheringham, just 300 yards from the beach. Kelling lies midway between Blakeney and Sheringham, about a mile from the sea. The village has an interesting art gallery, which also serves light lunches and delicious cakes. Birdwatchers, walkers and golfers are well catered for with a good choice of locations. Holt, three miles away, is one of the prettiest towns in Norfolk and has an excellent selection of small shops. There are many places to visit, offering something for all ages, close to the village.
