Cromer is a traditional seaside resort with a cliff-top setting and wide sandy beaches running down to the sea. It is famous for its fishing boats that still work off the sea and offer freshly caught seafood. The town has a fine recently refurbished pier, a local history museum, a new lifeboat museum, a golf course, cycle hire, shops and restaurants as well as seafront entertainment, making it ideal for a family holiday. Cromer church tower is the tallest in Norfolk and the more adventurous might like to climb to the top and enjoy the wonderful views. No 10 is a pretty Victorian cottage, traditionally built of brick and flint for the workers of the Cromer Hall Estate. The property is situated on a quiet Loke just minutes from the beach and town centre. With its sunny garden and welcoming decor, the relaxed atmosphere makes it an ideal base for exploring the fabulous North Norfolk Coast at any time of year. Accommodation overview: One of four very well appointed cottages offering sympathetically restored accommodation with use of a large recreation barn. Happisburgh (pronounced Haisbro) is a seaside village on the North East Coast of Norfolk, famous for its red and white lighthouse. It offers visitors a quiet, rural location, sandy beaches and cliff-top walks. The village has a post office/store and a traditional coaching inn and is within a 15-minute drive of the market towns of North Walsham and Stalham with easy access to the Norfolk Broads and many other tourist attractions. In past years Church Farm has been a favoured holiday location for famous artists such as Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Ben Nicholson and Ivon Hitchens, keen to relax in a rural idyll. The large grain barn and stables have been sympathetically converted to retain character and create four beautiful cottages, which all have exposed flint walls and old beams. There is a large recreation barn (9am-8pm) offering a racket sports area, a pool table, table tennis table and a comfortable seating area with books and games. Moore Cottage has a wealth of exposed beams and flint walls. It has been tastefully decorated and features pictures representing some of the famous works of the sculptor Henry Moore. The village has shops and a pub which serves good food, with further facilities available either in Stalham, four miles away, or the traditional market town of North Walsham, which is six miles away. This holiday chalet is one of a small group of properties in an excellent quiet position along a private road with no through traffic. Spindrift has sea views and is only 50 yards away from a fine sandy beach. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and well-maintained, making it an ideal base for a seaside holiday.
