An ideal base for a relaxing holiday, you are on the edge of the owners 100 acre sheep and arable farm. You will also be a short drive to a range of beaches, sheltered coves and fishing villages as well as attractions to suit all tastes which include The Eden Project (10 minutes drive), The Tall Ships at Charlestown, Lost Gardens of Heligan, numerous National Trust properties and gardens and the fishing villages of Fowey, Looe and Polperro. In the evenings enjoy some lovely walks directly from the property, relax in the enclosed garden with seating and BBQ or visit one of many nearby family pubs serving good food. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and under floor heating included. Regret no pets or smoking in the property. Location: safe sandy beach 3 miles, pub, restaurants and shops 2 miles away in Lostwithiel. The accommodation forms the main part of the barn with a private annexe for 2 people attached (see LCARM) and offers THREE bedrooms: all large rooms, upstairs 1 king-size double with additional single bed and en-suite shower room with WC. Downstairs 1 double bedroom with king-size bed, TV, DVD and mezzanine floor with twin beds, en-suite bathroom with separate shower and WC. 1 further downstairs double with en-suite shower room and WC with wheelchair access. Accommodation overview: SET IN 250 ACRES, GUESTS ARE WELCOME TO VISIT THE FARM BY ARRANGEMENT Approached via a farm lane a detached former dairy and hayloft that has been renovated to a high standard with a spacious open-plan living area set on the first floor to take advantage of the view over the neighbouring field where cattle sometimes graze. The exposed beams, traditional Cornish granite and comfortable farmhouse style of the conversion creates a perfect retreat. Set in 250 acres, guests are welcome to visit the farm and see various activities by arrangement. Just 3 miles away you will find The Eden Project and other attractions such as Luxulyan Valley and Viaduct, the Tall Ships at Charlestown, the Lost Gardens of Heligan and many National Trust properties. Within 5 miles there are a number of golf courses including Lostwithiel, Lanhydrock and Carlyon Bay. The sandy beach of Par and the bays of St Austell are within 5 miles. Numerous other beaches on the South coast are all within easy reach and well worth a visit. In the evenings enjoy a BBQ on the patio or eat out at one of the local pubs within 1.5 miles. For something different, why not take a stroll or the cycle route to the village of Luxulyan and take the local train from the request stop to Newquay.
