Accommodation overview: The Cabin is an ideal holiday home with sea views from the upstairs bedroom - it is almost on the beach and provides excellent family accommodation. Southwold Denes - Southwold Denes stretches from Gun Hill to the harbour's mouth and acts as a vital sea defence for the town. Suffolk Coast and Heaths (to whom our customer's £1 booking donation goes) are working with several agencies to restore and maintain the important area. It is the home of skylarks and little terns (please be careful not to disturb the nests) and the habitat of sea holly, sea pea and bird's foot trefoil to name a few. Our properties here enjoy the sunrise over the sea and stunning sunsets over the marshes. Accommodation overview: Scholars Cottage is a pretty terraced property. It is furnished to a very good standard and is situated on the edge of Reydon. It has access to great footpaths for walking and cycling but also within walking distance of the beach at Southwold. Reydon is only divided from Southwold by Buss Creek, a narrow stretch of water where the fishing boats (busses) of long ago used to tie up. All properties therefore have easy access to beaches and town centre amenities by road and various footpaths. Reydon boasts two well-stocked village stores, as well as the Randolph Hotel which has an excellent restaurant and good locals' bar. Scholars Cottage is a pretty terraced property.
