Accommodation overview: 1 Mayfield Cottage is one of a pair of traditional croft cottages that has been lovingly restored and transformed to provide modern, bright and attractive accommodation in a superb setting.A large kitchen/ dining room opens onto an attractive conservatory lounge which looks out over open countryside across to the sea at Dunnet Head on the far north coast. The gardens are a real feature of the cottage. Surrounded by beautifully maintained dry stone walling, with lawned areas, the owners have cleverly incorporated the old sheep shearing walls, planting the thick stone walls with a variety of small plants and flowers, creating a unique and attractive garden area that enjoys truly spectacular views across to the Orkney Isles.
