Set in one of the most beautiful parts of Devon, this delightful property, which is approached by external steps, has been refurbished to a high standard. Situated in Torquay, you will be within walking distance to the waterfront, which is the focus of life in the town. There is a palm-lined promenade, seafront gardens, a lively harbour and international marina. Within minutes of the town centre there are beautiful beaches easily accessible by foot, road or water. An abundance of pavement cafes, pubs, restaurants and nightlife, good quality shops and a host of attractions to suit every interest. Paignton, a short distance away, offers long sandy beaches, colourful atmosphere, paddler-friendly waters and many attractions including Paignton Zoo, Quaywest Waterpark and the Paignton to Dartmouth Steam Railway. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin both with TVs. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Lounge: with electric fire, TV, Freeview, DVD, video with both films and music, radio and a further dining room table. Sun room with seating is off the kitchen and lounge with French doors leading to the patio. Kitchen: with gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Outside: private enclosed patio area with BBQ, secure for children and pets. Amenities: off-road parking for 1 car but roadside parking is available. Bed linen, towels, electric and central heating included. Up to 3 dogs welcome (dog equipment supplied). Additional info: regret no children under the age of 6 years old. Accommodation overview: The Squirrels is an elegant modern mews house furnished to a high standard and boasting a wonderfully central location just a short walk from Torquay harbour (pictured). Here visitors will find a stunning new development full of bars cafés and restaurants; Fleet Walk and the Pavilion offer superb shopping and the town's flower filled streets and clean beaches are a delight. An indoor beach with a flume ride and wave machine a Byegones Museum theatre and Kents Caverns – this lively resort has something for everyone whilst for the more active there are water sports a golf course horse riding and miles of coastal walking to enjoy. Close by is Brixham a pretty town much loved by artists and its beautiful working harbour where one can buy fresh fish and local seafood. Completing this coastal area known as the English Riviera is Paignton with its long sandy beaches famous zoo and steam railway. Inland there are historic castles and gardens Dartmoor's rugged beauty and the picturesque villages of the South Hams to explore.
