Accommodation overview: The Old Post Office in Muasdale nestles between two large rocks and boasts a wonderful sandy beach front location. There is a fantastic uninterrupted view west to the Atlantic Ocean, looking out onto the islands of Cara, Gigha, Islay and the Paps of Jura. This westerly location provides you with stunning sunsets, which you can enjoy from the paved seating area or while just strolling on the long sandy beach to inhale the invigorating fresh sea air. The Old Post Office is a converted potato store, dating back to the 1800s which has been extended to provide extra living accommodation. The open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area has exposed traditional random stone walls and a lovely cosy log fire. The view from the arched kitchen window is directly out to the sea and the islands. To the South of the house lies approximately three quarters of an acre of wild grassed area, also a gravel parking area for four or more cars. To the West of the house there is a large grassy area which leads directly down onto an expanse of sandy beach. A small burn flows along the North boundary of the enclosed garden and bordering the Southern wild grassed ares is a working fishermans launch.
