The cottage is well laid out, beautifully furnished and has a wood-burning stove. It is perfect for pets as there is a large enclosed garden and numerous walks from the village. Wimbleball Lake is a good walk or a short drive away, with surrounding wildlife, as well as sailing, canoeing or angling. Dulverton is approximately 6 miles away and has a range of shops and amenities and is also the Gateway to Exmoor. Other local areas of interest are the village and castle at Dunster, the West Somerset Railway at Minehead and the villages of Porlock Weir, Lynton and Lynmouth. Accommodation overview: Set within Exmoor National Park in Lorna Doone country, this beautiful three-storey Victorian town house, adjoining other properties, is the ideal base for walking, horse riding, fishing, shooting, bird-watching or just unwinding. Dulverton is one of the prettiest, least spoilt and most photographed market towns in the area and boasts a range of unique shops and restaurants. The moor is a ten-minute drive and the award-winning beaches of Dunster and Minehead are twelve miles away. There is an abundance of National Trust houses and gardens and Wimbleball Lake, Dunster Castle, Somerset Railway and Exeter Cathedral are all local attractions. Shops 25 yards.
