Watch glass being blown at Dartington Crystal before enjoying a traditional Devon cream tea in the adjoining restaurant. Family theme parks such as The Big Sheep and The Milky Way are a short distance away and offer families of all ages a great day out. Other interesting places to visit include Clovelly, a cliffside fishing village with steep cobbled streets leading down to the harbour. The market town of Bideford with its weekly pannier market, Burton Art Gallery, Victoria Park and historic quayside are worth a look. For those who enjoy walking or cycling the Tarka Trail (a former railway line which runs from Braunton - Meeth) is nearby and offers a safe and level walkway for children and adults, with a few welcome watering holes along the way.
