This well-equipped cottage, hidden behind a 15th century village inn, has been lovingly restored and yet retains much of its original charm and character. You will be a short stroll to the local shop and the 2 miles of golden sandy beach at Westward Ho! which is approximately 2 miles away. There are also the lovely cliff top walks at Greencliffs which offer rock pool beaches for exploring and relaxing. North Devon as a whole offers attractions to suit all tastes which include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Dartington Crystal, Tapeley Park and The Oldenburg for day trips to Lundy Island. Ideal for those not wishing to cook, the renowned Thatched Inn is famed for its food and the owner will deliver meals to the cottage if required. Leisure facilities: the suntrap conservatory enjoys a private 5 seater hot-tub for relaxing in the evenings. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin both with TV/DVD player. Shower room: upstairs with WC. Separate WC downstairs. Lounge/diner: with double sofa bed, wood burner effect gas fire, TV, Freeview, DVD, video and hi-fi. Conservatory with hot tub. Sun room to the rear of property with washing machine. Kitchen: galley-style with cooker, fridge and microwave. Outside: enclosed garden with seating and BBQ. Amenities: roadside parking nearby. With access from country lanes to the shingle beach at Greencliff, you will be able to enjoy picturesque National Trust cliff top walks to Westward Ho! or Bucks Mills in the other direction. The popular tourist attraction, The Big Sheep, is a 5 minute walk and has a range of shows and play areas for families to enjoy. There are 2 miles of golden sandy beach about a 10 minute drive away and you will also be ideally placed for enjoying a host of popular attractions within a short drive, including The Oldenburg in Bideford for day trips to Lundy Island, The Milky Way, the cobbled village of Clovelly, Tapeley Park, Watermouth Castle and more. The area is famed for its natural beauty and you will be within very easy access of both Dartmoor and Exmoor. The property is arranged over three floors and many of the rooms have lovely sea views. The accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: situated on the first floor, 1 double with en-suite shower room with WC. 1 twin room and 1 double which leads through to the stairs to the second floor which offers 1 twin bedroom and opens out to a Childs lounge/play area with TV. Bathroom: situated on the first floor with shower over and WC. Lounge: with wood burner, TV and DVD. Kitchen/diner: situated on the ground floor, well-equipped with cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, many extras, and patio doors leading to garden. Utility: with washing machine, tumble drier and WC. Outside: enclosed garden with lovely views and seating. Amenities: parking is roadside, normally right outside the property.
