The house dates back to the early 1900s and has been completely re-built and extended to a very high standard to offer an exceptionally comfortable and spacious holiday home. The sunny, bright rooms are beautifully decorated and enjoy magnificent views of the loch, hills, coastline and across the sea to the Isle of Coll. There is a large enclosed garden with picnic table and a large barn with table tennis. Grigadale is accessed by a beautiful 60 mile drive from Fort William, the last 30 miles are via a spectacular single track road which winds through magnificent coastal and mountain scenery - the house is spectacularly positioned in one of the last remote and unspoiled areas of Scotland. The dramatic, wild mountains, rich forests and varied coastlines offer superb opportunities for walking, biking, birdwatching and fishing. The ferry from nearby Kilchoan to Tobermory on the Isle of Mull offers a great day trip. There is a hotel within 2 miles, an excellent coffee shop at the lighthouse and a well-stocked shop in the village of Kilchoan which is 5 miles away. 2 twin and 1 double bedroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, utility room, bathroom (shower over bath), shower-room, extra separate wc. Stables Cottage was indeed once a stable and it has been cleverly converted into unique holiday accommodation. The cosy, open plan lounge/kitchen area has all you require and the French doors lead out to a patio area and then down into a shared garden. When relaxing on the patio the sound of the river can be heard as it flows by and there is a lovely view to the hills beyond. The open wooden staircase leads up to the bedroom, which has a large, feature circular window, offering a fantastic view out onto the hills. A short 20 minute walk from the village leads down to a lovely sandy beach and there are several good walks close by. The local hotel is within walking distance and has a bar/restaurant. The local service station also has a well stocked shop with post office facilities.

Accommodation overview: Aldersyde is a large detached traditional stone built house sitting on the hillside overlooking the quiet coastal village of Tighnabruaich on the Cowal Peninsula.  Aldersyde has space for all the family to spread out and enjoy their holiday.  There is a games room with table tennis and pool table, plus a small childrens playroom with toys and games.  The kitchen leads into the lounge which provides a very sociable area for everyone to be together.  There is one bedroom downstairs and three further bedrooms upstairs.  The two double bedrooms upstairs have a view to the sea.  The large garden is fully enclosed with a lawn to the side. Guests are welcome to enjoy the walled garden and to stroll through the estate. Mown paths lead through oak woods and heather to ponds or the shoreline and there is a private beach on Loch Fyne. Visit the Iron-Age fort, Neolithic burial chamber and old arboretum within the grounds. The estate has abundant wildlife including birds, seals, otters, deer and much more. Highland cattle and Tamworth pigs look perfectly at home in their surroundings. The estate manager is on hand to arrange sea fishing trips, clay pigeon shooting, night safaris and weekend catering. A stocked trout pond lies close to the cottages and permits are available. This is a fairly remote spot, 2 miles along a private road and 8 miles from the shops and hotel restaurants in Kames / Tighnabruaich. At the recently opened Portavadie Marina (6 miles), there is a small shop and lovely restaurant as well as the ferry service for Tarbert. The 130 year old modernized detached farmhouse sits on a hillside surrounded by a 50-acre working farm. There are spectacular views south of the Island of Arran, Inchmarnock and Bute from all the ground floor reception rooms. There is a spacious living room with open fire and leather sofas, a separate dining room with space for everyone to sit around the table comfortably, a fully-equipped kitchen with table and benches for four, and a newer conservatory with smaller table and three chairs as well as a 3-piece suite. Accommodation overview: Treetops is a cosy first floor flat located on the charming Isle of Bute.  The island nestles just off the Cowal peninsula and can be accessed by ferry from Wemyss Bay or Colintraive. Treetops enjoys an elevated position overlooking the village of Ardbeg which sits between Port Bannatyne and Rothesay. From the lounge window the view is eastward over the sea, with a fantastic panorama of the Firth of Clyde, over to the Cowal hills and Wemyss Bay. The small galley kitchen is well equipped.  The bedroom is spacious with a double bed at one end and a single bed at the other.  The flat has access to its own private enclosed garden area with outdoor seating and garage, ideal for storing bikes and canoes etc.    A ten minute stroll will take you down to the sea front and Port Bannatyne with its new Marina and award winning pub being less than a mile away.
