Accommodation overview: The Old Post Office in Muasdale nestles between two large rocks and boasts a wonderful sandy beach front location. There is a fantastic uninterrupted view west to the Atlantic Ocean, looking out onto the islands of Cara, Gigha, Islay and the Paps of Jura. This westerly location provides you with stunning sunsets, which you can enjoy from the paved seating area or while just strolling on the long sandy beach to inhale the invigorating fresh sea air. The Old Post Office is a converted potato store, dating back to the 1800s which has been extended to provide extra living accommodation. The open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area has exposed traditional random stone walls and a lovely cosy log fire. The view from the arched kitchen window is directly out to the sea and the islands. To the South of the house lies approximately three quarters of an acre of wild grassed area, also a gravel parking area for four or more cars. To the West of the house there is a large grassy area which leads directly down onto an expanse of sandy beach. A small burn flows along the North boundary of the enclosed garden and bordering the Southern wild grassed ares is a working fishermans launch.

Accommodation overview: Coalfin is a large, impressive detached farmhouse sitting high on the hillside overlooking the small village of Skipness on the Kintyre Peninsula.  The property has a stunning view south over Kilbrannan Sound to the Isle of Arran. The large, spacious kitchen is the heart of this property, a place for everyone to gather and chat.   At one end of the kitchen is a large bunk room (sleeping 4), with en-suite facilities. The opposite end leads into the lounge where there is a cosy, open fire.  The main hallway provides access to a large double bedroom with en-suite.  Upstairs there are a further two bedrooms and a shower room.   All rooms have a stunning sea view, looking out to Arran. Once the home farm steading on the historic Stonefield Castle estate these fine old stone built cottages have been lovingly restored. Clustered around a pretty landscaped courtyard the attractive crow stepped gables are among many original early 19th century features which enhance their period charm and character.
Set in 30 acres of countryside grounds Barmore offers plenty of space for boules badminton football and a large secure children's games area. Sailing horse riding and clay pigeon shooting can all be arranged and the cottages are just 2 miles north of the fishing village of Tarbert on Loch Fyne where there are shops and a good choice of inns and restaurants. Stonefield renowned for its sub tropical gardens which flourish in the mild Gulf Stream climate is just 200 yards from the cottages and has a small beach which is sandy at low tide (more extensive beaches are 20 minutes by car).
Quintessential Argyll the Kintyre Peninsula offers some wonderfully scenic forest and hill-walking. The local Art Centre is a nature lovers' treat with its deer park wildfowl pond and museum area. Ferries to the beautiful isles of Mull Iona and Colonsay are available from Oban (an hour's drive) while trips to Islay Jura Gigha and Arran are available close by. Five superb golf courses including the 18 hole championship links course at Machrihanish are close at hand. Cycle hire is available at Barmore Farm and there are numerous tracks to follow.

The 130 year old modernized detached farmhouse sits on a hillside surrounded by a 50-acre working farm. There are spectacular views south of the Island of Arran, Inchmarnock and Bute from all the ground floor reception rooms. There is a spacious living room with open fire and leather sofas, a separate dining room with space for everyone to sit around the table comfortably, a fully-equipped kitchen with table and benches for four, and a newer conservatory with smaller table and three chairs as well as a 3-piece suite.
