Accommodation overview: The cottage which is situated on a small working farm was built in the 1700's and was originally part of the main farm house. It benefits from a stunning location at Waberthwaite 4.5 miles from the beach and sea in the Western Lake District and with the beautiful Eskdale Valley on the doorstep. This little hamlet has a pub providing good food, a shop and post office on Woodall's farm which is famous for its Cumberland sausage and bacon, by appointment of the Royal Family. Row farm has 175 acres, most of which guests are free to walk across, and breeds suckler cows and sheep.
