The mill was previously open to the public as a working mill and today's visitors can explore its upper two floors of fascinating history. Adjacent Millers Cottage was a shop with tea rooms to serve visitors to the mill. This is now a comfortable cottage with unrivalled views of the mill.

Sarre is a wonderful central base for discovering the many attractions to be found within the Garden of England. The renowned coastal towns of Ramsgate Whitstable Margate and Broadstairs are all within an 8 mile drive as is the medieval town of Sandwich and the lovely city of Canterbury with its magnificent cathedral and wealth of historic interest.
