The popular seaside town of Eastbourne is 8 miles; Hastings and Rye are a little further afield and day trips from Newhaven to Le Havre and Dieppe are also available. Set beside the owners' home the cottages sit within walking distance of the widely acclaimed Hungry Monk restaurant (birthplace of Bannoffi Pie) as well as lovely tea rooms for afternoon treats and the excellent local inn.
