It is situated in the pretty village of Nether Stowey and makes a perfect retreat for those wishing to explore the delights of Somerset and North Devon. The thriving village has3 good pubs, post office, general store, farm shop and well-known connections, once being the home to the romantic poet Coleridge. Set in the foothills of the Quantocks and just a short drive from the South West Coastal Path and Exmoor National Park, walkers and nature lovers will be in their element. You will also be close to various attractions such as Wimbleball Reservoir with its boating and fishing, West Somerset Steam Railway, Dunster Castle, Hestercombe Gardens, Cleve Abbey and Clarks Village to name but a few. The accommodation retains much charm including steep, cottage-style stairs approaching the first floor that offers TWO bedroom: both doubles, 1 with step down to access with Freeview TV. Described as a "Famous Five" holiday location, children will be in their element with so much to see and do. Guests will be welcome to share the 6 acres of land which is home to chickens, ducks, geese and occasionally cows and sheep.
