It is a very spacious detached holiday house with an attractive conservatory, an enclosed courtyard with covered terrace area, and a single storey annexe with separate living room and bathroom. It is surrounded by acres of rolling pastureland and woodland, all easily accessible, as they are part of the estate. Although the house has been modernised with every modern gadget, including a 42in plasma TV, it retains its original character and charm with open fireplaces and stone-flagged floors. Outside catering is available by an inspired professional chef by arrangement for that special occasion or treat. National Trust woodlands from the former Acland Estates are just beyond the house.
