It is a very spacious detached holiday house with an attractive conservatory, an enclosed courtyard with covered terrace area, and a single storey annexe with separate living room and bathroom. Accommodation overview: West Lynch, thatched and cosy, has been with the same family for three centuries and lies on the sunny side of the Porlock Valley. Inside, relaxation and comfort abound - it is beautifully furnished with lots of arts and crafts, many sitting areas, 50in and 32in TVs and with facilities such as Wii, games room and indoor pool table. Outside catering is available by an inspired professional chef by arrangement for that special occasion or treat. National Trust woodlands from the former Acland Estates are just beyond the house. These lead to the open moors - with large herds of red deer, Exmoor ponies, the buzzards on the wing and foxes in thir lairs - and dramatic headland of Hurlstone, looking west down to Devon and north to the Welsh coast. Also within walking distance are the romantic villages of Bossington, Selworthy, Allerford and bustling Porlock for year-round needs, as well as Minehead’s farmers’ market. There is surfing at Lynmouth or beyond to Croyde and Woolacombe, and golf at Minehead or the fine course at Saunton for a true test. Horse riding is available for all abilities and entertainment for both children and adults at Lynch Farm and Tropicaria further on.
