An easy 12 mile drive south reaches Alnwick Castle renowned as the film location for Hogwarts School in the Harry Potter films and beside it Alnwick Gardens an exciting contemporary space featuring gloriously vivid planting stunning water displays and one of the largest tree houses in the world.
