As one double bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor, it may be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
The pretty village of Beauly is 1.5 miles away - its floral displays have won many awards and there are shops and many good places to eat out. Beauly is very centrally positioned, 14 miles from the Highland capital of Inverness and less than an hours drive from the West Coast. Loch fishing, golf and pony trekking can be arranged locally, for skiing Aviemore is within easy reach, and in summer there are the lovely beaches of the Moray Firth coastline. Local attractions include Glen Ord Distillery and the Moniack Castle Winery, or take a boat trip on Loch Ness for a pleasure boat trip.

Accommodation overview: On an elevated site with magnificent panoramic views over Strathspey to the mountains of the Cairngorm National Park, this attractive farmhouse has been sympathetically extended and modernised to a very high standard. All rooms are bright, spacious and well-furnished and the large conservatory makes the most of the views and catches the sunshine all day with doors opening onto a patio area where guests can sit and enjoy the scenery. The property is on a working sheep farm and guests can see farm animals and a wide range of wildlife all around. The spacious open grounds are not enclosed from the farm and guests are asked to keep dogs under control.
This area of great natural beauty with its network of trails is a haven for walkers, cyclists and climbers. See the ospreys at the nearby Loch Garten RSPB Reserve or enjoy a host of activities including golf, angling, mountain biking, riding, water sports and, at Aviemore, winter sports. Local visitor attractions include the Strathspey Steam Railway, Mountain Funicular Railway, the fascinating outdoor Folk Museum, Landmark visitor attraction and Highland wildlife park. The pretty villages of Boat of Garten and Nethy Bridge are less than 2 miles away with shops and hotels. The Highland Capital of Inverness is less than 1 hour away, as is the Moray Firth coastline with lovely beaches.
