"Staithes is a beautiful little fishing village. If you like walking or taking trips out it is close to numerous places. We have been lots of times and never get fed up of going back!"

"Location superb!!! Park the car and everything you need is in this wonderful olde worlde village and if you need a change of scenery just walk the cliff tops (well signposted) to Port Mulgrave (30mins) and the lovely seaside village of Runswick Bay (45 mins)."

"The location was amazing right on the seafront. With two young kids this was perfect; get dressed then we're on the beach within 30 seconds! The cottage was very homely and well stocked with most things (and more!) you could need. There were games jigsaws DVDs for all ages CDs and a few toys that our son was very attached to in the few days we were there. The kids loved the loft room and the views of the sea from the front rooms were amazing. All in all a great break and the village was so pretty and friendly."
