Herne Bay's traditional seaside attractions shops restaurants and bars are all within an easy walk as are boat trips to view sea lions and wind turbines. Whitstable's famous oyster beds are 4 miles and the city of Canterbury's magnificent cathedral is 7 miles whilst Quex House and its fascinating mounted animal collection Howletts Zoo Ramsgate Margate and Dickens House Museum at Broadstairs are an easy drive. Golf sailing clay pigeon shooting nearby.

"Pint House has the most fantastic location and is central for everything shops swimming pool beach amusements and restaurants in fact you need not take your car out at all. The cottage is beautifully decorated warm and cosy and the owners are very helpful particularly when we locked ourselves out.!! "I would highly recommend this holiday apartment the owners Stan and Kath were very welcoming and the accommodation is very comfortable. There is everything you need shops just round the corner Iceland Boots New Look etc and the beach is a pebble beach which is 2 minutes walk. I have an autistic son and this was our first holiday for 10 years as my son finds it difficult to settle - well he absolutely loved it and he really settled in the apartment. Many Thanks again to Stan and Kath!"
