Coastal holiday accommodation at Llwyn Ynn Cottage, Barmouth in Gwynedd

"The welcome and hosts were outstanding and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is beautiful well laid out and appointed and the hot tub is very special and a very welcome extra. The walks from the cottage were excellent up the hill following the course of the stream - outstanding woodland with strategic resting places or take a walk to the beach and walk for miles. Before the beach turn left for a short walk across grassland just before the dunes and see many varieties of birds fancy a longer walk across similar ground then turn right and walk for miles across land between beach and farmland see masses of wild life (the rabbits are quicker than the dog)! Fancy a trip into Barmouth well the Last House is good for food beer and welcomes dogs. A brilliant location a wonderful holiday and not to be missed!"

The owners of the cottage are friendly and very helpful with lots of good advice about where to go and what to do. I cannot recommend it enough and being doggie friendly is a massive bonus."

"This cosy cottage is set alongside a small river just outside the woods and has everything you need for a holiday. The garden is perfect to relax in on a sunny day and the hot tub is fabulous whatever the weather. There are forest walks on the door step and the beach is a 5-10 minute walk away. For food and other bits and bobs there is a shop and a pub within walking distance and an Italian at the bottom of the road. Talypont is perfect for exploring Wales - set between Barmouth and Harlech there is plenty to see and do within a few minutes drive. Barmouth is a seaside town with a popular beach and Harlech Castle and the sand dunes are well worth a trip. There are also the slate caverns to visit along the way. For a trip further a field Portmadog and Abersoch have plenty of boating activities for the water lovers and Snowdonia boasts some of the most scenic walks in Britain! A perfect cottage for a perfect get away - I would recommend it 100%"
