Over two hundred years old, this stone-built holiday cottage oozes charm and character with exposed beams and real fires. With a cottage garden to the front, it nestles in a peaceful hamlet, close to the market town of Pickering-home to the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway. Scarborough, with its white sandy beaches (Blue Flag) is a 20-minute drive, Castle Howard 12 miles, and Whitby 20 miles. Golf, fishing, cycling and walking are all popular locally. Shops 110 yards, pub ½ mile. Spacious living/dining room with multi-fuel stove, rugs on floor and door to rear garden. Well-equipped modern kitchen with breakfast area, tiled floor and door to front garden. Exposed beams on ground floor. Open-tread stairs to first floor: Two double bedrooms. Single bedroom with pull-out bed (for +1). All bedrooms with sloping ceiling. Bathroom with large separate shower cubicle and toilet.
