Glenahuil provides the perfect get-away from it all location on the stunning Cowal Peninsula. The 130 year old modernized detached farmhouse sits on a hillside surrounded by a 50-acre working farm. There are spectacular views south of the Island of Arran, Inchmarnock and Bute from all the ground floor reception rooms. There is a spacious living room with open fire and leather sofas, a separate dining room with space for everyone to sit around the table comfortably, a fully-equipped kitchen with table and benches for four, and a newer conservatory with smaller table and three chairs as well as a 3-piece suite. The bathroom and shower room are also on the ground floor.  Upstairs, there are three bedrooms with coombed ceilings and velux windows, two with double beds and one with three single beds. The house has a private water supply from a well in the forest at the back of the property.  The house is completely private, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.  The approach to Glenahuil is by a three quarter mile track from the shore road around Ardlamont Point.  There is a lovely sandy beach approached by a nice 20 minute walk across the moor.
