Well appointed and very comfortable it stands in its large attractive garden (pictured right) a ten-minute stroll from Old Felixstowe's Blue Flag beach. The small ferry boat that crosses the river to Bawdsey quaint cottages and two excellent inns are 15 minutes walk away whilst an 18 hole and a 9 hole pay and play golf course are only 5 minutes' walk. Felixstowe town (1½ miles) provides leisure facilities and a seaside funfair. Visitors are sure to enjoy exploring the scenic beauty of the surrounding area including Constable country and Rendlesham and Tunstall forests and the Suffolk Coasts and Heaths long-distance footpath. The market town of Woodbridge's Tide Mill (N.T.) Sutton Hoo's Anglo Saxon burial site Orford Castle Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings Concert Hall are all within easy reach. Pub under ½ mile; shops beach fishing and cycle hire 1½ miles.
