On the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, nestling in the Esk Valley and dating back to 1890, this stone-built holiday cottage stands as one of a pair. The historic Port of Whitby - known for its connections with Captain James Cook - makes for a good visit. Stunning views can be enjoyed from the abbey ruins and the ancient St Mary’s Church. The steam train (Hogwarts Express) travels through the stunning Esk Valley and Goathland. Pickering 12 miles, Blue Flag sandy beaches, Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes not far away. Shops and pub 500 yards. Large living room with tiled floor. Spacious dining room with TV and ornamental wood-burning stove and tiled floor.
