Within walking distance of the beach and picturesque fishing harbour this very comfortable traditional cottage sits in the lovely and historic village of Helmsdale. The local area features stunning coastal scenery outstanding salmon fishing and abundant wildlife including wild red deer golden eagles and red kites; beach walks often afford sightings of otters and seals. The Castle of Mey turreted Dunrobin Castle and lovely gardens are among attractions within easy reach. Shops and dining pubs are a stroll away and there is also a 9 hole golf course within walking distance.

"I just wanted to write to tell you that my family loved Bluebell House during their stay last week! My husband and I went to see them a few times and we were all struck by the loveliness of the house as well as the fact that it really did have everything anyone could want in every way. If someone needed something it only took a quick look around to find that the required item (from utensils to small appliances) was already there. It's very comfortable and homey and also very pretty and it's obvious that lots of care went into renovating the rooms and making everything just so for guests. The welcome basket was much appreciated and my family truly enjoyed their stay there. I'll definitely be recommending Bluebell House to anyone else who comes to stay in Helmsdale. It's a delight!"
