50 ACRES, CATTLE AND ARABLE Built in the 12th century, this spacious wing of the farmhouse is steeped in history, being mentioned in the Doomsday Book and features an impressive inglenook fireplace with original beam. The cottage is set in a quiet lane, on a 50 acre stock farm, just over a mile from the beautiful north coast of Devon, with its sandy beaches, coves and superb coastal paths. The villages of Combe Martin and Ilfracombe are 3 miles away and Woolacombe with its excellent beach is 7 miles. The places to visit locally include the ancient cliff railway at Lynton and Lynmouth, Exmoor and many picturesque villages. Other attractions to suit all tastes include National Trust Arlington Court, Watermouth Castle and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park. The accommodation is mainly arranged on the first floor and offers THREE bedrooms: 2 doubles and 1 single. Bathroom: with shower over bath. Separate WC. Lounge: downstairs with wood burner, TV and DVD. Kitchen/diner: with cooker, fridge, microwave and seating for 6. Utility: use of owners' washing machine and freezer. Outside: patio with seating, enclosed lawn garden, BBQ and play equipment. Room for all games at the end of the lawn. Amenities: parking for 2 cars. Bed linen and electric included. Electric heating.
