Accommodation overview: VIEWS OVER THE RIVER CAMEL AND A PLEASANT 5 MINUTE STROLL TO TOWN CENTRE. SITUATED IN A QUIET, DEAD-END ROAD LEADING TO THE BEAUTIFUL CAMEL TRAIL This pretty cottage is situated along the banks of the River Camel in Wadebridge and is a level stroll to many facilities. There are a range of popular family pubs and restaurants in town serving food, several take aways, independent shops to enjoy and a cinema. All weather tennis is available opposite, via a footbridge, together with a local football/cricket pitch and two childrens activities areas. The Camel Trail, which was given UNESCO Area of Outstanding Beauty, is accessed from the end of the road and there are several cycle hire shops in town, if required, to enable guests to explore the trail. You can walk or cycle east to Bodmin Moor or west to the fishing town of Padstow. The renowned surfing beach at Polzeath is a 15 minute drive. Popular fishing villages, well worth a visit, close by include Rock, Tintagel and Port Isaac and there are attractions to suit all tastes including The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Newquay Sealife Aquarium and the Tate Gallery at St Ives to name but a few. Relax in the raised, suntrap patio area just to the rear of the property, with slight drop to one side, or enjoy local hospitality with a pint in one of the pubs or restaurants. The accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 double, downstairs, with electric wood burner effect fire and 1 small single, ideal for a child, upstairs. Shower room: situated upstairs, with WC. Lounge/ diner: situated upstairs to take advantage of river views, with TV with Freeview and DVD. Kitchen: situated downstairs with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and microwave. Outside: enclosed patio area with garden furniture and BBQ, and storage for bikes. Imaginatively converted it offers superbly spacious accommodation, yet includes all modern comforts. High arched windows feature very strongly, with light pouring in against an all white décor, the overall theme being contemporary. This property is situated behind the Post Office/Store in this enchanting unspoilt village, just yards from the village pub and small children's farm, where you can enjoy the use of the swimming pool and tennis courts for a small charge. A short drive through country lanes will take you to the superb beaches of Rock, Daymer Bay and Polzeath. An ideal location for a family getaway. The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: all accessed via a staircase that sweeps up to a galleried landing, 2 double bedrooms each with a mezzanine platform single bed, accessed by a ships style ladder (considered not suitable for children under 8) and a family room with a 5ft double bed and single bed. Bathroom: spacious with roll top bath and WC. Separate shower room with WC downstairs. Accommodation overview: PERFECTLY LOCATED JUST MINUTES FROM COASTAL VILLAGES OF ROCK POLZEATH This lovely semi-detached cottage is situated in one of Cornwall's most popular areas and is just a few minutes from the village of Rock, a haven for water based leisure pursuits such as sailing, rowing and water skiing. Enjoy a small trip, via a foot ferry, across the estuary to the bustling fishing village of Padstow with its array of galleries, shops and Rick Stein restaurants. Directly outside the property is a footpath which meanders down to the superb sandy beaches of Polzeath, approximately 1 mile, or a few minutes’ drive takes you to Daymer Bay which is excellent for families. The Camel Trail, popular with walkers and cyclists, is only 15 minutes drive at Wadebridge and from here you can follow the estuary to Padstow or take the woodland trail to Bodmin. Explore the picturesque fishing village of Port Isaac and Tintagel, famous for its Arthurian Legends or visit many attractions within driving distance; Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Newquay Sealife Centre and Crealy Adventure Park. In the evenings stroll to the local family pub serving good food. Accommodation overview: This lovely terraced character cottage is set in a quiet village and is less than 5 minutes to the popular sandy beach resort of Rock, which offers excellent sailing and a ferry ride to Padstow with Rick Stein's restaurant. It is just a short drive to a host of popular beaches as well as being less than 2 miles from three beaches, one for sailing, another for families and also the world-famous surfing beach of Polzeath. Wadebridge is again just a short drive where you can gain access to the Camel Trail which is great for cycling. The cottage is only a few steps from the friendly village pub which also offers good food. The accommodation is full of character and original features and offers THREE bedrooms: 1 double and 2 singles with 4' beds. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC.
