Accommodation overview: In a beautiful and very peaceful location above the pretty little coastal village of Badachro, and enjoying spectacular sea and mountain views this attractive detached house has been built in a traditional Scottish style. Badachro is a former fishing village which is now a haven for yachts and small boats and would be a popular choice for guests wishing to bring their own boat. The pub in the village is lively and friendly for lunch, drinks or an evening out. The popular resort of Gairloch is 4 miles away with excellent shopping, hotels, restaurants, boat trips, a beautiful beach and good 9 hole golf course. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are excellent opportunities for walking, climbing, fishing, pony trekking, sailing and golf.
This lovely house has very spacious rooms which are bright and welcoming and the interior is furnished and equipped to a particularly high standard. Full ramp access. It stands in an acre of garden grounds where guests can relax and soak up the atmosphere and wonderful scenic surroundings. Shops 4 miles, pub/hotel nearby.
1 double bedroom with en-suite shower room, 2 further double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom (cot and high chair available) , very spacious comfortable lounge with double sofa bed, kitchen/dining room, bathroom with bath and separate shower, utility room with wc/whb. Accommodation overview: This traditional croft house is situated in a scenic and peaceful location in the crofting community of North Erradale, 6 miles along the coast from the charming little port of Gairloch. A wide range of walks can be enjoyed, from strolling along the beautiful beaches, forest walks and nature trails to the more demanding mountains of Torridon. River, loch fishing and sea angling are all available and permits, where necessary, can be obtained in Gairloch which offers a range of shops, restaurants, pubs and leisure facilities as well as a popular golf course and lively pier.
The age of the cottage is uncertain but records in the Heritage Museum show the cottage was rented in 1841 for an annual rent of

Built in 1800, this traditional village house has been beautifully restored and extended over the years and now provides a high standard of accommodation in a truly superb setting. The cottage is stunningly located on the edge of the sea and commands spectacular and uninterrupted panoramic views across the bay to Gairloch beach, the dramatic Torridon mountains, Badachro harbour and the Isle of Skye. The south facing position ensures that the property and gardens take full advantage of the sun from early morning to late evening, with some stunning sunsets across the water. Lochside is exceptionally well presented throughout. Its bright and spacious lounge takes full advantage of the sea and mountain views. French windows open out onto a lovely patio area with solid wood picnic table and surrounding lawned gardens. The bedrooms are particularly spacious and all enjoy amazing views. With a bathroom and bedroom also on the ground floor and fully en suite bedrooms upstairs it is an ideal property for the extended family or two family holiday.
